The Chinese portion of this page give links to these letters. 保護廣州陸軍新編第一軍印緬陣亡將士紀念墓園文物公開信 -- 揭鈞 (孫立人將軍義子﹐現居加拿大滑鐵盧) 本人匆忙中寫了一封信給幾位受人敬佩的長者和好友﹐但是因為想含蓄一點﹐文字上出了問題﹐所以有人誤解我的願意。我現在把這封信改寫﹐變成公開信﹐一方面抱歉﹐也請誤解的人原諒。 因为在原地无法修复远征军阵亡将士墓，广州市政府提出把原有残留纪念碑和记功亭等文物，迁移到长洲岛建筑陵园，整修回原貌，加以管理保护方案。我们在不得已之下，考虑再三，同意市政府提出的迁建方案。 我這封信是支持王伯會先生写给广州市长的信， 关于吁请从速落实广州新一军公墓迁建的函 我感谢有些网友，把我的公开信放在部落格(BLOG)中讨论，有很多远征老将支持我们同意广州市政府提出的迁建方案。在这些人中，我看到梁振奋远征老将的名字。回想2006年，梁振奋远征老将，多方面照顾初到广州的我，首先带领我去找寻公墓残留遗物。还有遗物远征将士的后人梁丽萍，也来信鼓励我继续努力，也让我感动。 |
